Devotional Gatherings

A regular gathering of people from all faiths and backgrounds who come together in a locality to share prayers and worship. Often held in homes or neighborhood or community centers, devotional gatherings are considered an essential practice of the spiritual well-being of a community, and follow no set form or rituals.

Let’s E.A.T.

Welcome to "Let’s E.A.T." (Explore Answers Together) is a devotional gathering where people come together to say prayers, read Holy writings, and have meaningful conversations, thus filling their souls with inspiration.  Before that, they feed their stomachs as well. It is different every week. Come and explore Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.!

Junior Youth Groups

The Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program: Often also referred as the junior youth empowerment program or simply junior youth groups. This educational program typically engages older youth as animators of younger peers aged 11 to 15 to help them develop their powers of expression, capacities for moral reasoning, and an ethic of service to others. The program combines study, mentorship and social action.

Children's classes

Baha’i children’s classes aim to nurture the hearts and minds of children. The emphasis of these classes is on helping children to learn to reflect on and apply spiritual principles, such as love, unity and justice, to their own lives and to the lives of those around them. Based on the teachings of Baha’u’llah, the classes seek to inspire in children a love of God and His Messengers, and of humanity in all its diversity. The classes include short lessons, activities to build friendship, games, stories, art and music.

Firesides

Description:Meaningful conversations about what the Baha’i Faith offers for people who want to contribute to the betterment of the world. Discussions will be informal, cordial, and in a spiritual atmosphere.  All are welcome!

Imagine a group of your friends gathering together in a home or on the beach in an informal setting, talking about teachings of a religion and why they’re important for the modern world.

Baha’is around the world have had many of these gatherings to discuss things like world peace, equality of women and men, racism, and so many more topics that are important to defeat ignorance. Baha’is call these gatherings “firesides”—warm, informal gatherings and discussions about the Baha’i teachings:

The purpose of religion as revealed from the heaven of God’s holy Will is to establish unity and concord amongst the peoples of the world; make it not the cause of dissension and strife. – Baha’u’llah, Tablets of Baha’u’llah, p. 129. It is potluck, so bring your favorite dish to share.
