It is an opportunity to learn and gain inspiration from what is happening in other communities
It is an opporunity to meet new friends and be with old ones
A letter written on hehalf of the Guardian states, "... the importance of reminding the believers that they should make every effort to attend the meeting for the election of the State or Province delegate, in order to stimulate a larger group consciousness which will greatly facilitate the process of the believers becoming acquainted with each other, and provide an intermediary stage — which will become increasingly valuable and necessary between the local organization, represented by the group or assembly, and the national collective action, represented by the activities of the Convention and the institution of the National Assembly.
We want to see as many people as possible attend, but if you are not feeling well at the time of the conference, it may be best to vote using the Online Balloting System (OBS). We will be having the conference during Cold and Flu season and COVID is always an issue, so we will have masks available for those who want them. We should all be mindful of others in such a large gathering. You have time to make sure that you are up-to-date with your vaccines.
Parking may be difficult downtown. There is an entrance to a parking lot under the library on Wayne Street, which costs $1 an hour. You can find more information here: https://www.acpl.lib.in.us/parking-at-main .
